Anne Shade (She/Her) resides in Minneapolis, Minnesota and loves sharing stories about women who love women featuring strong, beautiful queer Women of Color. Anne’s works include, Femme Tales – finalist for a 2021 Lambda Literary Award, Masquerade, Love and Lotus Blossoms – listed as a Publisher’s Weekly Best Books of 2021, Her Heart’s Desire, Securing Ava, Three Wishes – finalist for a 2024 Golden Crown Literary Society award and winner of the 2024 RSJ Emma Award for Best Paranormal, Sci-Fi and Fantasy Romance, Leather, Lace and Locs – finalist for a 2025 Golden Crown Literary Society Award and 2025 Lambda Literary Award, and The Blessed. 
 

Anne has also collaborated on Bold Strokes Books anthologies In Our Words: Queer Stories from Black, Indigenous and People of Color and My Secret Valentine and Sapphic Lit Pop-Up Bookstore’s anthology Beyond the Shelves. When Anne isn’t writing, she dreams of the day when she can welcome readers and authors alike for a stay at her future bed and breakfast.
